£1,500 per annum paid quarterly

It’s an exciting time for our client as they work towards their Corporate strategy, Next-Gen 2017-2021 and focus on growing their organisation and working tirelessly towards solving the housing crisis.

They are currently recruiting for a Vice Chair of Challenge and Change to assist the Chair of Challenge and Change to lead, support and shape the future of resident scrutiny. You will work alongside the Chair of Challenge and Change and the governance team to plan, coordinate and facilitate a number of topical reviews on an annual basis, ensuring appropriate recommendations are made to the Board as part of effective co-regulation.

You will support the Chair of Challenge and Change to develop and expand the group, attracting a diverse and enthusiastic range of residents and work closely with the Chair of Challenge and Change to facilitate effective scrutiny through ad-hoc meetings, including monitoring the collection of data by staff to promote transparency.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in demonstrating supportive leadership skills, whilst working as part of a team to influence change and continuous improvement. You will be an excellent listener with the ability to keep discussion focussed whilst ensuring every resident has the opportunity to have their say. You will be expected to attend approximately ten meetings per year, including the annual general meeting which takes place during December.
