We are recruiting for a Student Services Officer to operate as part of the frontline customer facing team across the college.  The post will be to provide a welcoming and professional frontline service to all; offering outstanding customer service and impartial information and advice to all students and visitors contributing to a comprehensive ‘one stop’ Helpzone service.

You will be responsible for a lead role within the Student Services Support team, liaising closely with academic and Helpzone colleagues to take responsibility for the day to day customer enquiries including supporting the college admissions function as part of the Helpzone, you will oversee a highly effective recruitment process from application through to enrolment of new and progressing students. You will work on a rota basis between the College reception desks and the Helpzone office working as part of the wider Helpzone Team.

The successful candidate will need to hold GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent, hold or work towards a Level 3 or above qualification and have experience in the use of computer packages to maintain records.  You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be able to work effectively unsupervised.
