Game Illustrator and Animator

To ensure we stay ahead of our competitors and continue to build fantastic mobile casino games, Probability Jones is now looking for an Animator to join our studio in Norwich. We want you to bring your passion for breathing life into characters, creatures and objects with you to help us evolve our games.

The Game Illustrator/Animator role is to create sketches and art assets, create game flows and animations. It includes the following key responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality and polished graphical game and marketing assets with a good eye for composition, color, perspective and lighting
• Ability to follow the game's visual style for all visual material produced throughout the game's development
• Create concept art and storyboards
• Create and implement high-quality in-game 2D animations
• Add dynamic elements and visual effects to static assets in a meticulous manner, in different formats
• Create intricate but conceptually sound animations that enhance the player experience
• Ability to polish gameplay and marketing assets
• Work closely with other artists, animators and programmers to in collaboratively build best in class slot games

Experience and skills

• At least 2 years' of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge in Photoshop and After Effects
• Understanding of core principles of animation and how they translate to games
• Strong understanding of the animation development pipeline, including storyboarding, block-in and polish
• Experience from the gaming (or similar) industry
