An exciting opportunity has arisen with West Suffolk Councils to become a Team Leader (Advice & Prevention) based in Bury St Edmunds! You will join our team on a part time, contract working 30 hours per week covering maternity cover with a competitive starting salary of £31,401- £32,233 per annum pro rata depending on qualifications/experience plus an excellent benefits package!

The Team Leader (Advice & Prevention) Role

As our Team Leader (Advice & Prevention) you will manage, lead and co-ordinate the day to day delivery of this service area. You will liaise with and advise statutory and voluntary agencies on a range of housing issues.

This post is temporary to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.

Our Ideal Team Leader (Advice & Prevention)

To be successful in the Team Leader (Advice & Prevention) role you must have experience of supervising staff or co-ordinating activities, be a team player with well developed communication and written skills, and be able to understand and implement housing law and policies. You must also be able to travel within West Suffolk. Knowledge of housing options and homelessness is essential.

A basic DBS check will be required for this post.
