Trusts & Partnerships Fundraising Officer, Charity, Southampton, cGBP21 - GBP23000 DOE

Fantastic opportunity for a Trusts & Partnerships Fundraising Officer to join this major UK and International Charity as part of their Fundraising team in Southampton. You will provide tactical support and co-ordination across all the Partnerships Team's income streams and assist the team in reaching agreed annual income targets. Amongst your key responsibilities will be writing and sending compelling Trust applications to the charity's regular Trust supporters. Maintaining and securing donations from a small portfolio of regular corporate supporters. Managing the production and distribution of an annual Christmas corporate appeal. Supporting the Partnerships Manager in co-ordinating the production of high quality supporter communications and materials and in co-ordinating their global ambassador network. In addition you will be involved in an exciting new project to generate income from High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI's) and will support the Partnerships Manager in this through liaison with the charity's Trustees and Senior Leadership Team. This is likely to include supporting the delivery of bespoke cultivation events for HNWI's, donor stewardship, donor journey and donor recognition tasks. You will also keep accurate records of all correspondence with charity's stakeholders on their CRM (Raisers' Edge - training will be offered) and also provide administrative duties related to corporate, trust and HNWI income generation, such as sourcing materials, preparing invoices and other activities as required. Previous charity sector experience is helpful, but not essential for the role.

You are confident and competent communicator on the telephone, face-to-face and in writing, with excellent networking skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels and to represent the charity in person. You can demonstrate excellent writing skills with the ability to write accurate, powerful, compelling and persuasive copy in a range of formats e.g. proposals, reports, brochures and posters/flyers. You are also highly organised, with the ability to plan and manage a complex and demanding variety of tasks and to meet strict deadlines.
