The Team and Role

The Urgent and Unplanned Consultancy Team Leader will drive Advanced growth by delivery of configuration, training, reporting and consultancy services. To support pre-sales scoping and estimates, provide internal expertise of software solutions to customers and supporting pre-sales activity linking to new revenue opportunities.

You will understand the business industry, market and solutions available in the context of their own role. Team Leaders are managers of people and are guided by policies, procedures, business plans and KPI's for professional services and may help to shape such. They have support from their line manager and will manage both senior and junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Performance: Translation of One Advanced strategies into effective Consulting performance. Continually review and implement Advanced Group Service improvements strategies.

  • Financial Performance: Responsible for a specific AHC solutions consulting financial performance. Achieve and support the team to monthly, quarterly and annual revenue & profitability targets per their assigned vertical as agreed.
  • Provide Pre Sales Expertise: Provide pre sales advice and Statement of Works (SoW) authoring support. Accurately advise on consultancy contract requirements, scoping and support the publishing of robust Work Breakdown Structures (WBS's).
  • Application Expertise: Lead on and support the consultancy team on end to end workflow configuration services to best meet our customers' requirements.

  • Training and Consultancy: Preparation, design, delivery and evaluation of training and consultancy to the relevant product vertical.

  • Services Go-to-Market: Continually contribute to the development and maintenance of a portfolio of professional services offerings that addresses market appetite for Consulting & Professional Services, and stimulates financial growth for Advanced.

  • Client Experience: Agree and achieve goals set for achieving Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Client Satisfaction (CSAT) score objectives. Ensure their own delivery and facilitation and that of the wider team is driving to achieve great customer satisfaction and feedback.
  • Services Pipeline Development: Support Head of Consultancy to cultivate quarterly sales revenue new pipeline creation as per targets, per quarter, per product vertical. Enable this via the delivery of services pre-sales expertise and lead referral generation.

  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of latest industry developments within the Urgent and Unplanned Care market space. Represent the department at meetings / conferences both internal and external. Attend regular product briefings and support the 'go to market' processes within their product vertical.

About you

The ideal candidate has:

  • Demonstrable experience of Health and Care delivery of Consultancy and training.
  • Demonstrable people coaching and management experience.
  • A basic appreciation for commercial acumen.
  • Has a client centric approach working across the entire lifecycle from Sales to Delivery.
  • A technical background with proven problem solving expertise.
  • Can work both independently and within a team.
  • Will think through a problem and weigh the pros and cons.
  • Has diplomacy and tact, for customers their team and colleagues.
  • Is competitive, goal oriented and able to drive projects forward, imparting a sense of urgency. An energetic and hard driving attitude is key here.
  • Is confident enough to make key decisions and be responsible for delivering objectives.
  • Is able to be assertive and tough, is able to overcome objections/resistance, and is able to achieve goals in the face of obstacles.
  • Is able to work well under pressure and enjoy meeting tight deadlines.
  • Has a proactive approach and possesses strong self-confidence.
  • Can produce and work to project timelines and specifications.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience of successful Professional Services delivery i.e. consulting, project and change management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
  • Basic understanding of the Advanced CPM.
  • People management and driving a performance culture.
