The Role
The role will be responsible for repair and maintenance of a wide range of plant hire machines. The successful candidate will be carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure that our plants operate safely and reliably. The maintenance will include PDIs, safety LOLER inspections, servicing and general damage repairs.
Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for repair and maintenance of all types of machinery from 1.5t mini diggers to 35t excavators, 4m to 20m telehandlers, as well as dumpers, rollers and rotos.
You need to be self-motivated and be able to turnaround machines quickly with accuracy, and you will also be responsible for ensuring the machinery is fit for hire.
Full compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and legislations.
Liaise with colleagues to optimise efficiency.
Qualifications & skills:
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
• Demonstrate a full and varied knowledge of all plant
• Be able to provide references to supplement your application.
• Having a CSCS card would be an advantage
• Good spoken and written English
• Use of iPad technology
