Quality Engineer
Based in Plymouth.
Due to high levels of demand from existing customers and the opportunities for further business development, our client requires a Quality Engineer.
Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career with a global manufacturing company who are committed to the training and development of their staff.
Key Responsibilities:-
• To assist with the current high demand of FAI requirements.
• Develop and conduct product and process validation.
• Assist with the successful transfer of new products to manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on internal quality performance indicators.
• Define the inspection planning and audit requirements including for SPC and assist with internal and external audits.
• Carry out and facilitate Customer Complaints system and analysis.
• Provide customer support where required e.g. monthly reports.
• Carry out non-conformance / root cause analysis and implement and verify permanent corrective actions.
Requirements:-
• Quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering degree/HND or equivalent qualification.
• Institute of Quality Assurance Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Operational experience of SPC, AQP and PPAP processes.
• Demonstrable problem-solving abilities / G8D etc.
• Communicate effectively at all levels.
