Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

We are now looking to recruit an Engagement / Learning Advisor to ensure that an efficient and effective service to our 14-16 College students is provided at all times, particularly to vulnerable students, in line with the ‘student first’ ethos. This role is based at Goole College and is a permanent, term time position, working 40 weeks per year.

Within the role you will supervise student learning activities in classrooms and in one to one situations, providing instructions on projects and assignments set by academic and vocational staff. Working with groups and individual students with a range of abilities, you will provide a high quality customer focussed service to students at all times, addressing their general needs and enabling them to cope with the demands of their course.

We are looking for someone who has experience of support and direct input to student groups, you will have excellent administrative skills and will be able to identify additional learner needs. You will support the co-ordinator in Goole with day to day attendance, behaviour, SEN support and parental support as well as administration and keeping up-to-date records.

A confident, approachable and friendly disposition is important, as is being able to motivate your students. With an understanding of the KS4 curriculum demands, you will have a commitment to the development and provision of excellent customer service in enhancing the student experience.
