Media Scotland are looking for an Affiliates Editor to join our team, which will be based in our Glasgow office. This position will see the successful candidate being responsible for generating digital revenue through content marketing by using affiliate links with our business partners.

While Media Scotland's digital editorial teams are usually tasked with driving online traffic and engagement, this role will work towards revenue, rather than audience targets.

We are looking to recruit a creative individual that has a proven track record in generating content ideas with the purpose of generating revenue through articles based on seasons, trends, topical events and SEO.

Role Responsibility

Whilst you will work towards commercial targets and report to the marketing director, these will sit with the digital editorial team, ensuring all digital content is produced correctly to maximise potential affiliates revenue.
You will liaise with our regionals business to share learnings and efficiencies to ensure maximum revenue is achieved.
This role is predominantly a desk-based writing and marketing role but will establish relationships with key suppliers in order to get the best deals.
