GROUP MERCHANDISE PLANNING MANAGER

About the Job

Do you want to build and lead a high performing team that delivers exceptional results for all of Games Workshop’s customers, right across the globe?

Are you passionate about developing processes and ways of working that will enable you to effectively plan and manage inventory across Games Workshop’s international retail, online and wholesale channels?

Can you work effectively at both a strategic and operational level, setting a vision, exceeding targets and delivering fantastic customer service?

Are you enthusiastic about working with teams to get to a resolution whatever the challenge?

This is a senior role leading an expanding team.  Your core responsibilities will be to ensure that we can maximise sales by placing the right products, in the right places, at the right time.  You and your team will work with a wide range of talented colleagues to make the world’s best miniatures available for all of our customers, whenever and wherever they want them.  You will proactively manage inventory across all channels and territories, ensuring that new products are launched on time.

We know what makes this job hard is coming up with a plan to generate sales growth every single month, ensuring that inventory and stock provision are managed to within demanding targets, and doing all of this whilst building and leading a high performing team around you focused on service, sales and profitability.  For the right person though, this will be a challenge that they will relish.

Your strong leadership skills and experience in supporting and growing a multi-channel organisation alongside your excellent organisational skills and ability to communicate ‘the big picture’ will enable you to be successful in this role.

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work.

Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills or experience.
