We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to support the Group Head of Health and Safety Policy in providing an effective sector leading health and safety management service to Paradigm Housing Group.
In this key role you will proactively assist with the delivery of the health and safety strategy, shaping our health and safety culture and working with key stakeholders and staff to support them in meeting their responsibilities.
Other duties will include conducting audits and inspections, reviewing incidents, conducting investigations, producing health and safety documentation and to deliver training and briefings where required.
To be successful in this role you must have a current understanding of relevant health and safety at work legislation and an appropriate professional qualification and membership e.g. IOSH and/or NEBOSH or equivalent. Self-motivated, committed, professional and pragmatic in your approach to work you will also have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.
Due to the nature of the role you must be prepared to undertake extensive travel across all of PHG’s locations (mostly South East and West London areas) where there is a business need and when required and possess a current full driving licence and have your own transport.
