Engineering Manager
Location: Orkney Islands
Hours: Days (as business need demands)
Salary: Approx GBP35k +
A great opportunity has for an Engineering Manager has come up for a client of mine in the Orkney Islands.
My client, a large transport company with a sizable depot in the Orkney Islands are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager on a full time basis.
Applicants must have a proven track record of fleet management and preferably recognised by the Engineering Council and a member of the IRTE.
Our Engineering Manager will have to be able to cope with the day to day pressures that the role brings, be able to deliver and exceed high standards of customer service, manager and motivate a technical team, ensure company standards are adhered to and improvements identified in all aspects of the engineering facility, ensure all engineering KPIs/financial budgets are delivered, programme and oversee preventative maintenance and comply and adhere to standards with regards to Health, Safety and environment and quality engineering systems.
Possession of excellent communication skills and experience of effective team management also required.
