We have an exciting opportunity for an Education Support Assistant (Welfare) to join our Wellbeing and Welfare Team. This permanent post is available from September 2018 on a term time only basis for 33 hours per week, 30 weeks per year (0.6 FTE).

The role

The Education Support Assistant (Welfare) will be managed by an Education Support Advisor (Welfare) who will have responsibility for a package of Health, Wellbeing and Support for Study (HWSS) activity and general welfare support.

This post will be expected to provide general administrative assistance to the Education Support Advisor (Welfare), principally in support of the University’s formal HWSS process. We are looking for a committed and organised individual with excellent note-taking skills and a good knowledge of confidentiality and Data Protection issues.

About you

The successful applicant for this post will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a large team in order to meet peak demand needs across the service.

The salary offered will be from £16,654 to £18,777 per annum pro rata on Grade C depending on qualifications and experience.
