FUND GOVERNANCE ANALYST

Job description:

Are you a self-starter who will drive matters and work on your own initiative? Do you have demonstratable experience in the creation and maintenance of mandates?
If so then we at Core-asset consulting have an exciting new opportunity with a global asset management firm which may be of interest to you. This is initially a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh.

Core requirements:

• Strong understanding of client investment needs
• Understanding of investment techniques and strategies
• Appreciation of fund regulations and compliance issues
• Knowledge of systems, data & PC applications
• Client focused to maintain focus on client needs at all times and is flexible when trying to meet and exceed client expectations

Core responsibilities:

• Ensure that valid and up to date mandates exist for all funds in scope, liaising with multiple teams
• Ensure connectivity to ensure effective product risk mitigation
• Ensure the accuracy/propriety of key investment messages from a client expectation perspective
• Report on behalf of the company as the investment manager/adviser to relevant oversight bodies
