Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Process Operator to join us at their site in Seal Sands, Middlesbrough.


Reporting to the Lead Operator, you will be required to operate process vessels and pumps to charge and discharge materials ensuring you meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001 and cGMP. With an eye for detail you will follow batch card instructions accurately, identifying the correct materials for mixing batches and accurately weighing them to the right quantities as per instructions.


Additionally you will maintain high levels of Housekeeping on plant to ensure zero contamination.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of manual or semi-automated processing operations in an industrial or heavy engineering environment and will ideally have previously handled hazardous chemicals. We are looking for an individual with strong planning and communication skills along with the ability to work in a team as well as individually. You will need to be computer literate with good numeracy and literacy skills.


This is a shift position, based on a 40.74 hours week, working a semi-rostered 5 Shift pattern.  You will gain general plant operational skills and work as part of shift team.
This position will become permanent when you successfully achieving the Fine Organics Level 2 in Process Operations upon completion of their in-house training programme.  They would expect this to take between 12 and 18 months and on successful completion your salary will be increased to £22,083 per annum plus shift allowance. Should you fail to achieve the required standard within 18 months we reserve the right to terminate your contract with notice.
