Sessional Lecturer – A Level and GCSE Geography

Sessional – Mondays & Tuesdays

The focus of this role is to teach a combination of A Level Geography classes and GCSE Geography classes, under the leadership of the Head of School.  This will include preparing students for June exams, marking home works and mock exams, student monitoring and where appropriate, curriculum development.

With energy, enthusiasm and passion for Geography and education, the successful candidate will hold a Degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject and have the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners to include monitoring their progress. Hardworking and flexible, we’d like you to have high personal standards and expectations and be able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve targets.

It goes without saying that excellent teaching skills in A Level Geography and / or GCSE Geography are a must. A teaching qualification is not essential however you must be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
