An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Planned Works Surveyor to join our team based in Milton Keynes.

Within this role, you will manage major complex planned refurbishments projects from inception through to fruition. You will be responsible for all elements of the project, including initial scope, specification preparation, drawing preparation, Planning and Building Control consideration/preparation and application.  As well as this, you will also be responsible for procurement, project management, site supervision/management, health and safety, operational and administration, budgeting, cost control, site inductions, monthly reports and client and customer liaison.

 

This role will provide strong leadership and support to other teams and sub-contractors within your control. 

Projects will include, but are not limited to, the refurbishment of both occupied and non-occupied buildings and associated structures within the client’s portfolio under the capital works allocation. However some works may include new build related activates and site preparation. 

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience of Planning and Building Control requirements for refurbishment projects, coupled with proven experience of working in a social housing environment within construction and repairs.  With significant experience in refurbishment and new build, you will also have a track record of managing sub-contractors and will be able to provide detailed specifications.

A relevant building services qualification or extensive practical construction experience will also be a requirement for this role.

Candidates for this role must hold a UK driving licence
