Senior Production Supervisor

Manucomm Recruitment are looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Senior Production supervisor to join a large FMCG company.

You will have already have experience of leading or supervising a team and will have demonstrated your potential to date with hitting and exceeding business targets and objectives.

This position offers the opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within a business on the back of delivering the right level of results, both on an operational front as well as through the development of team skills and the delivery of training requirements.

This is a day based role (40hrs per week) Monday - Friday overseeing a team of 80 staff.

As Senior Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising and developing the warehouse, and processing operation in line with business requirements.

You will be particularly responsible for:

Monitoring and achieving agreed production schedules on time and in full.

Increasing productivity and efficiency with particular focus on wastage and direct labour efficiency

Ensuring all quality systems and processes are adhered to at all times and that manufacturing records are produced in a timely and accurate manner.

To initiate and drive continuous improvement in all areas

Compliance with company hygiene policies and company Health and Safety and Environmental policies at all times.

Management of H, S & E improvement programmes within the process function.

Review all audits including customer, external organisations, and internal ensuring prompt resolution of any issues and train out as required

Review all process Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments and retrain if necessary

This role will suit a candidate that has previously worked as a Production Line Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Shift Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor

The role will pay a salary of up to GBP30k DOE

The role is commutable from Bath, Chippenham, Devizes, Trowbridge, Frome areas
