DRS are looking for Tanker drivers to work for a Bluechip company based in Preston.
The position offers full training with a classroom induction over a 2 week period.
Drivers must be prepared for nights out and will be expected to be available for on call cover which will be paid for. Weather permits workload and drivers must also be prepared to be on various sites for long periods of time whilst waiting to tip.
Drivers will be paid for 40 hours per week guaranteed (8 hours per day Mon - Fri) . You may take a rest break or be on Stand by any days Mon to Fri but will be paid in full.
If you work over a weekend then potentially you earn 7 days pay for 5 or less.
Pay per hour as follows:
GBP13.50 Mon to Fri
GBP18.00 Sat/Sun/Bank
GBP25.00 Night Out Expense
GBP0.50 Incentive Bonus if achieving a specific target.
We are looking for drivers who would be commited to staying the course of this summer contract, who are happy to do nights out but equally happy to be paid for being at home whilst on call.
Previous experience of tank work would be advantageous.
Drivers must have 6 points or less and held their licence for over 2 years for insurance purposes.
Interviews can be held in Manchester, Preston or Carnforth.
