We have an exceptional opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a Cambridge based team. You'll establish relationships with new and existing C-Level Executives to uncover and sell high-value opportunities. You'll need to be self-motivated and youandrsquo%3Bll most likely have a Russell Group university education. Youandrsquo%3Bll be sales orientated and have an excellent telephone manner. You will need to be able to pick things up quickly and understand technologies. An excellent base salary is on offer, along with uncapped commission. What Youandrsquo%3Bll Be Doing:* Passionately representing the company, identifying all potential business opportunities through cold calling and new business development. This involves researching companies, identifying the key business decision makers and appointment setting* Managing sales diaries* Making in excess of 60 calls a day * Using LinkedIn to engage with prospects and external databases to build contact lists* Using subscription-based databases such as Avention, RainKing or (url removed) to build lists* Updating the company sales database with the relevant information, including all customer interactions including emails, LinkedIn messages and calls. * Following up and speaking to prospects that have attended trade fairs in order to book meetings with them. Seeking out more senior level contacts if those that attended are too junior or irrelevant. * Booking a minimum number of 5 direct meetings a week and arranging for a minimum of 5 guests to attend a company event.* Booking meetings to be held at the company stand at trade fairs* Writing succinct emails to customers and emails introducing the unique company offering* Recruiting and inviting VIP guests to join company executive events at various geographic locations* Providing a weekly report of your activitiesWhat Weandrsquo%3Bre Looking For:* Strong university education (ideally Russell Group)* Able to understand technology* Sales driven* High levels of self-motivation* Excellent telephone manner - able to engage with C-Level executives* If you are fluent in German or Dutch, this would be a bonus
