Head of Audit & Compliance 

37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year (1.0 of the FTE)

Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum

Based at our Bedford campus, the College requires a Head of Audit and Compliance, to  lead and manage the effective operation of the Compliance and Audit function, to oversee PDSAT/FRM exercises to identify issues and to work with other Senior Managers on process review to avoid repetition of issues, Annually produce the Compliance and Audit SAR (Self-Assessment Report), implement any QUIP (Quality Improvement Plan) actions and ensure continuous improvement to service delivery and to manage the improvement of compliance business processes through the use of College Information Systems.

To be shortlisted for this vacancy you will meet the essential criteria which includes Level 3 or above or equivalent work experience, GCSE English and Mathematics at grades A*-C or equivalent Significant experience of managing staff in a computer-based environment, Experience of analysing complex datasets and Experience of implementing policy/procedural change.
