As the preferred supplier to one of the UK's most recognised courier businesses, we require HGV Class 2 drivers to work at the client's site in Liverpool. As a professional HGV Class 2 driver, you will be trunking parcels between depot's and making deliveries in bulk to distribution locations. These assignments offer long term assignment, working across 7 days per week across a 24 hour period, offering a range of start times.
This role in addition to regular start times, ongoing part time and full time work, this opportunity will enable drivers who pass our clients assessment the opportunity to work in a desirable role that has minimal manual labour and excellent working conditions. The role will offers full time, ad hoc and weekend only work to suit.
The PAYE rates for Class 2 drivers are as follows:
- Monday to Friday Days - GBP9.45 per hour; OT - 11.81 per hour
- Monday to Saturday Nights - GBP10.92 per hour; OT - GBP12.75 per hour
Only HGV category C licence drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required.
