Louvolite, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of window blind systems and fabrics, is looking to recruit an Apprentice Mould Tool Engineer to be based at their Head Office in Hyde.
The role will be varied and diverse with responsibilities including ongoing repairs and tooling modifications on a regular basis using the latest technology available. The company’s expanding product range means there is a demand for high quality new tooling on a continual basis.
The successful candidate will possess GCSE Maths at a minimum of Grade C (Level 4 new grading structure) and having either Performing Engineering Operations to NVQ Level 2 and/or Btec Level 2-3 would be advantageous. Engineers with machining skills looking to move in to toolmaking should also apply. Day release will be permitted up to HNC level. Applicants with an interest in the manufacture of multi cavity injection Mould Tools should apply.
The company has invested significantly in the engineering division, providing high end machinery and fantastic facilities for all tool making and high precision engineering requirements.
The hours of work will be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
