You will be working for an established, 4-star rosette hotel chain, leading a team of experienced team members working in the hotel as the reception manager. You will have excellent experience in working at this level in a hotel environment whilst seeking a rewarding role within an award-winning business.

This is a great opportunity for somebody with great leadership skills who has worked as a hotel reception manager to learn and develop as well as supporting a team of motivated employees. We will assist you in building greater knowledge of the business and the role in more detail. The position initially is contracted to maternity leave so therefore will be a minimum of 6 months however this could be extended.

As the reception manager, you will be working between the hours of 7:00am --3:00pm or 3pm - 10pm, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week including one duty manager shift per week. The role comes with a competitive salary and is located in Kettering.

Duties and Responsibilities of the reception manager are as follows:

* Provide great customer service at all times
* Lead and support the front desk team
* Comply with all company procedures ensuring customers security is highly maintained
* Assist in recruitment and payroll activities
* Help drive sales growth through retention of customers as a result of good service
* Ensure the team is focused on recognising individual needs of customers
* Keeping up to speed with all facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and its partners
* Monitor and maintain cash floats and daily banking
* Continually induct and train team members
* Conduct regular staff appraisals

You must be someone who strives to provide excellent customer service as well as a passion for the hospitality trade and has a great work ethic.
