An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employer Account Manager to join our clients Employability Team in Greater Manchester on a full time, permanent basis.
Do you have an ability to build a rapport and achieve a client's needs? A natural people person? If so, then this job could be for you.
This is an important role in which you will establish links with employers to generate appropriate and sustainable vacancies for the companies participants. The role requires establishing and maintaining close working relationships with local employers, Keyworkers, participants and other key partners. Mobility will be a key requirement, given the need to build sustainable relationships with partners both external and internal. The EAM will contribute to GMs Social Value commitments by promoting a range of initiatives and events.
Duties will include:
Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with new and existing employers to generate vacancies for the companies participants.
To sell the companies services, including the Work and Health Programme, to all new and potential employers.
Make regular contact with all key employers with repeat vacancies and to conduct monthly meetings with all major employers where ongoing recruitment is occurring.
Ability to analyse market trends to identify potential business opportunities when contacting new employers, with particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as per the requirements of the Work and Health Programme contract.
Ensure that participants are appropriately matched to employer vacancies.
All referred participants attend a relevant mock interview.
Organise and facilitate pre-screens / group sessions / digital candidate pools tailored to needs of employers for all vacancies.
Ensure all participants are fully prepared for interview.
About you:
You must have the following skills and experience:
Strong understanding of local employment market and local employment trends and challenges.
Knowledge of local labour market trends and drivers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentational skills.
Able to effectively network to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
High level digital literacy skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a busy schedule/workload under pressure.
A strong commitment to personal and professional ongoing development.
