We are looking for a Project Planner with experience of maintaining libraries of documentation including version control and document status.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Planner to join the ERP team and help with a varied range of tasks that will play a critical role in achieving a successful Go-Live.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Project Manager and senior Business leads within the HR and Finance Directorates. Although the project is using a range of communication methods including video conferencing and Skype, some travel may be required.

-Maintain the planning, tracking, and reporting mechanisms and timely updating of associated plans.--Support the Project Manager and functional leads with the planning of individual work streams as required.
--Challenge timelines/milestones against work completed.

-Creating various administration documents to effectively record and track information - example: resourcing maps, task and milestone plans.
-Supporting functional leads with resource capacity and planning project commitments against Business As Usual (BAU).
-Supporting and assisting the Project Manager and senior Project Business leads through the full Project lifecycle.
-Responsible for paper and electronic administration relating to ERP.
-Integrating multiple contractors working together.
-Leading planning workshops.
-Enforce collaboration.
-Collating all projects and the supporting audit trails and trackers.
-Managing cost loading of the integrated project and value outputs.
-To interact and become a key member of the project delivery team providing a quality service to support the effective delivery of the project.
-To interact and support the effective information sharing / collection with all the project stakeholders in an appropriate manner.
-Prepare a project work breakdown structure and plan / schedule which can deliver the project objectives and providing effective project performance measurement and reporting.
-To develop the appropriate quality plan / schedule in line with the project scheduling principles and processes.
-Monitor and progress the plan / schedule and make changes as required. Develop recovery schedules and contingency plans to meet changed objectives as necessary.
-Input the planning issues into the project's critical issues risk log. Review planning risks and monitor whether the risk register is updated accordingly.
-Report actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes. Highlight key milestone and critical path issues to members of the team, provide an assessment of the impact of such issues and recommend solutions to correct the position.
-Monitor and audit contractor plans. Monitor contractor's planning processes so that they comply with HMLR contract requirements.
-Interrogate contractor's statement of progress for schedule adherence and payment purposes.
-Identify key resource requirements and monitor that these are properly booked and availability is maintained.

As well as the specific experience required above you will have the necessary qualifications, skills & experience of a Project Planner to take control of this requirement from its inception to its completion.
