My client has been trading successfully for the last 15 years and covers the Essex, London and South East locations. Their works cover Commercial, Industrial and Domestic projects and they have a solid order book of repeat customers. Due to further expansion they are currently recruiting for experienced mobile HVAC Engineers on a permanent basis.
Your role would include mainly Planned works on HVAC units. You will be fault finding, leak checking, recovery and repairing various Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Units, Refrigeration Systems and Heat Pump Equipment. You may also be required to carry out some maintenance and installation works. you will ideally have experience of working on HVAC systems in the retail and healthcare sectors.
In order to be considered for the position you will have the following;
- Qualified to Level 2 City & Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning. City and Guilds 2079-11 (Category 1) - Level 2 Award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations.
- A minimum of 3 years Experience on Air Conditioning Systems from split to VRF, Refrigeration Cold Rooms, Blast freezers, chillers and AHU's.
- A flexible nature as this role is mobile covering predominantly Essex, London and The South East and will require additional overtime.
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Solid working history.
Experience of working on Commercial Boilers would also be a distinct advantage.
This is a permanent position paying a competitive salary and comes with a company van, fuel card, uniform and attractive package. The role is to start ASAP and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Due to the nature of the role your working day will normally start at 6am as you will be working in retail outlets therefore will need to gain access to the building before store opening times.
