Health & Safety Manager - Demolition / Dismantling
*Previous Demolition Sector Experience Not Required*
Company:
My client is a national civil engineering, demolition, dismantling and decommissioning contractor, operating in a variety of sectors including Infrastructure, Industrial and Power.
Role:
This employer has a strong order book and as a result of a growing workload is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager to work on a major demolition project based in Kent
Duties:
•Undertaking COSHH assessment, monitoring and reviewing as work progresses.
•Assessing and implementing fire/emergency precautions and advising on fire and safety warden procedures.
•Setting a good personal example by promoting and conforming to the Company Policies and Procedures.
•Liaising with the Health & Safety Support Facility
•Sourcing and providing materials for training and information purposes
Requirements:
To be considered for this H&S Manager role you must meet the following criteria:
*Previous employment with a main contractor, engineering company or sub-contractor.
*Previous work in a Health and Safety role.
*Nebosh certificate
*Experience working in one or more of the following project sectors Construction, Infrastructure, Industrial or Power.
*Previous experience working on demolition or dismantling projects would be advantageous but not essential.
*IT Literate.
*Relevant industry qualification.
*Good communication skills.
*Flexible to travel
Remuneration:
The Successful Health and Safety Manager will receive:
*GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 (Dependent on experience)
*Lodge Paid for candidates not local to the area.
