Lead Project Planner
A Lead Project Planner with is required to work on a permanent basis for our Defence client based in Luton
This is a permanent opportunity working for one of the UK's leading defence companies.
Overview of the Lead Project Planner contract role
Key skills/Duties required for the Lead Project Planner
- Provide professional planning support to bids
- Provision of professional planning and control to business areas
- Implementation of tools and processes consistently across the business sector
- Manage and communicate issues to senior management
- Mentor less experienced members
- Performance management of project office staff as required
- Champion outstanding customer service
- Deliver agreed performance targets
- Knowledge of modern integrated business systems (SAP, ERP)
- Substantial project planning experience
- Familiar with all aspects of project management
- Able to manage in a Matrix environment
- Good grasp of Risk and Earned Value Management
