Morning TA 23.75 hours per week 39 weeks per year (actual salary £9356 - £10173)

Afternoon TA 28.75 hours per week 39 weeks per year (actual salary £11326 - £12315)

Westcountry Schools Trust is seeking to recruit two hard-working and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support with our Breakfast and After School clubs along with supporting our Class 1 Teacher.  

You should be a cheerful and motivated individual who:

  • Is able to work effectively as part of a growing school team and provide excellent care and learning opportunities for our children;
  • Can assist the teacher in the whole observation, assessment and planning cycle;
  • Will manage and prepare resources to support an enabling learning environment, both indoors and outdoors;
  • Supervise all children during the short-term absence of teachers (i.e. cover supervision) and in our out of hours care;
  • Help our children in with both adult directed and child-initiated activities , interacting with them to support their learning and development;
  • Ensure school safeguarding policies and procedures are followed appropriately.
