We are a national company with a Head Office in Liverpool and depots from Plymouth to Berwick-Upon-Tweed.

The HGV Mechanic Role:

Following the expansion of our business we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our existing team.  Based at our Honiton site this is a full time permanent role, 45hrs per week Monday to Friday reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.  In this role you will be responsible for the full service, repair and maintenance of all makes and models of HGV trucks and trailers, pre MOT inspections and preparation along with the completion of all relevant paperwork accurately.  You may be called out to plant breakdowns and you will also be expected to carry out small weld repairs.

About You

To apply for the role of HGV Mechanic you must have a suitable qualification in LGV mechanics and a C&E driving licence.  You should also have good understanding of DVSA test requirements and legislation.  A good work attitude along with good housekeeping is a must.  Due to the hazards of working in such environments we have a strict safety policy so you need to be the sort of person who will contribute to our safety culture.
