What it’s about
We are looking for a dynamic digital marketing specialist to drive the effectiveness and creativity of digital marketing and campaign activities across Cambridge Assessment English. An engaging individual, you will be able to forge and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external colleagues globally, providing technical, creative and analytic insight and support.
What you’ll be doing
You will drive the planning, development and implementation of global digital marketing campaigns, working with internal teams and external agencies. Assessing and analysing the effectiveness of current campaigns, as well as designing new campaigns, you will propose relevant digital platforms and channels to achieve the desired objectives within the budget provided.
- You should thrive on being highly collaborative, working with colleagues to explore new ideas and deliver projects on time, to high quality standards
- Using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, you will develop reports on our websites and campaign activities both in the UK and globally
- Tracking, analysing customer behaviour and campaign metrics is key as is the translation of statistics into action insights, helping to improve the content and performance of our websites, campaigns and user journeys
- You will be responsible for delivering impactful and effective PPC campaigns, while keeping up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques
- Substantial experience in leading successful medium to large-scale digital campaigns (B2B and B2C) is essential and you will play a key role in the development of a range of projects to support key business objectives
- Supporting marketing teams across over 20 overseas offices, providing training and best practice advice, as well as sharing creative ideas, you may be required to travel internationally on occasion
What we’re looking for
You will need to provide demonstrable experience of:
- effective collaborative working and digital project management
- successfully managing PPC and Display campaigns to increase return on advertising spend
- optimising the content and layout of campaign landing pages to improve performance
- managing e-mail marketing campaigns in a B2C and/or B2B environment, delivering best practice in email marketing
- using Google Analytics and other analytics tools to evaluate effectiveness of campaigns
- producing accurate and useful reports on a regular basis, supplying updates on agreed metrics.
You should have
- excellent numerical and analytical skills
- the ability to priority a heavy workload within a fast-paced environment
- good technical understanding, with some knowledge of HTML and responsive design
- excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- proven track record in developing and implementing large-scale multi-channel campaigns
- expert understanding of SEO strategies and best practice
- expert knowledge in tracking
- strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager
- knowledge of marketing automation software and CRM
- good knowledge of GDPR
