CREATIVE DESIGN AGENCY MANAGER
Salary £31,611pa
Coventry University Students' Union are looking to recruit a Creative Design Agency Manager who has experience in leading a design and digital agency. This environment is fast paced and dynamic with exciting times ahead for this growing agency.
You must be a talented graphic designer who is able to produce high quality design concepts to final artwork ready to print. You will lead and manage a team to deliver creative, innovative, engaging solutions for internal design briefs and in commercial situations through to execution.
It is essential you hold knowledge of and be fully competent using Apple Mac and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
You will also have experience of liaising with clients and external contractors, including printers. You will utilise the latest technologies and trends across digital and print to consistently deliver a high standard of excellence.
Experience/qualifications
- Minimum level 4 qualification in Graphic Design or related creative subject (e.g. HNC and above)
- Continuous Professional Development including a strong portfolio
- Experience of a lead role in a creative design agency or department
- Experience of managing creative staff
- Experience of designing a variety of materials from initial concept to final printer ready artwork
Responsibilities
- To grow Phoenix Media as a digital agency, meeting both external revenue targets and the needs of CUSU. Manage the Phoenix Media team, and ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- To produce high quality design concept, artwork and production for CUSU publications, media and communications.
- To ensure Phoenix artwork, photos and digital footage are stored in a data protection compliant and accessible manner.
- To maintain and organise a concise production schedule implementing systems of tracking work to ensure deadlines are met.
This post is permanent working full-time. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
