RESIDENT SPORTS PROFESSIONAL

From September 2018, College is looking for a Resident Sports Professional to be responsible for the coaching of pupils in sport throughout the Senior School and The Prep. Experience of coaching netball, cricket and/or hockey would be advantageous and the post-holder should be capable of developing the athletic and sporting capabilities of pupils within College’s   Talented Athlete Programme.

Under the line management of the Director of Sport, sports professionals will also assist in the management of key areas of sport’s busy programme and will gain valuable experience in administration, marketing and communications. There may be opportunities for sports professionals to assist in Sport Science lessons, and it is encouraged that all sports professionals actively seek to develop their coaching.

The salary will be commensurate with experience (in the region of £15,500 – 17,500 – based on 0.7 FTE - Term-Time only) with an Extra Responsibility Allowance to be paid for being a Resident Tutor. The post-holder will also be provided with a one-bedroom flat inclusive of all utilities apart from Council Tax.  More details can be found in the job description.
