Our client, based in Loughborough, is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Duties:
* Credit Control - Opening new accounts, Credit Checking, Setting Payment Terms and Chasing outstanding debt.
* Sales Ledger
* Purchase Ledger
* Nominal Ledger
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Payroll (4 weekly) Time and Attendance
* Ad-hoc Reporting
* Ad-hoc tasks as required




Skills & Qualifications:
* Highly organised
* The ability to be a good team player to support the wider Finance department.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
* The ability to work quickly and accurately adhering to strict deadlines.
* Excellent Computer Skills proficient in Excel and other basic Microsoft packages.

You will ideally be working towards AAT or equivalent Accountancy qualification.

This is a permanent full time position.
The client may choose to recruit on a temporary to permanent basis for someone who is immediately available or on short notice.
