Company Accountant. Leicester. Our client, a successful small manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced accountant to join its senior management team.
This is a varied role within a busy Point of Sale manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have experience of Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll.
Responsibilities will include: -
- Full responsibility for company accounts.
- Producing monthly management accounts.
- Complete year end accounts prior to external accountant sign off.
- VAT Returns.
- Paying suppliers, credit control.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasts.
- Weekly and Monthly Payroll - knowledge of Auto Enrolment and HMRC responsibilities essential.
- All HR functions including holiday requests, recruitment and record maintenance. Knowledge of new GDPR legislation preferred.
- Supervision of 2 staff whose responsibilities include procurement, job management system, health and safety administration.
- All general office duties. All staff work as a team which does include answering the telephone and greeting visitors.
- Booking couriers, booking in deliveries, preparing paperwork - delivery notes, pallet labels etc.
You will be competent in the use of MS Office with extensive knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
The company offers a competitive remuneration package for the right candidate. Annual holiday entitlement is 28 days.
Working hours are 9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
