£12.00 per hour weekdays, £15.00 per hour weekends waking hours
Double time for shifts of less than 3 hours’ duration
National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage for sleep-in hours (9.00pm to 6.00am)
Time and a half on bank holidays
On behalf of our client, Head First is recruiting part-time female support workers to provide support to a 7-year old girl with a traumatic brain injury who lives at home with her family. Head First do not directly employ support workers, but we recruit on behalf of our clients. Our dedicated and experienced case managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of the support team.
Support requirements:
Term-time shifts:
Weekdays – 4.00pm to 8.00pm and 10.00pm to 9.00am;
Weekends – Saturday 9.00am to 7.00pm and Sunday noon until 8.00pm and 10.00pm to 9.00am.
School holiday shifts:
Weekdays - 10 hours each day Monday to Friday, and weekends as in term time
Support is needed to undertake a robust programme of exercise and play with our client, to assist her rehabilitation
Experience in a caring role desirable, although extensive training is provided
Up to date DBS at enhanced level required – the employer will pay if you need to apply for one
There is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for females only
