Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Chaplain from September 2018, on a full-time, all year round basis, to work at The Becket School and its feeder primaries (Blessed Robert Widmerpool, English Martyrs’, Our Lady and St Edward’s, St Edmund Campion and St Patrick’s). The role will involve organising opportunities to regularly celebrate the Sacrements of the Church and working with pupils, young people and staff to nurture spirituality, respond to cares and concerns and to encourage a common purpose between home, school and parish.
Applicants must be faithful and practising Catholics with previous experience of working with young people and of preparing and leading Collective Worship. A full and valid UK driving licence with access to own transport for business use is also essential as the post will involve travel between schools.
