Our client is a professional, independent environmental consultancy operating throughout the UK with a friendly and open professional culture. Now looking to strengthen and grow their ecological team, they are recruiting Ecologists of varying levels to be based in Cambridgeshire.
Main job roles;
-Undertake site assessment, desk study and report writing with support from other team members;
-Assist other project team members, subcontractors and seasonal staff in surveys for a range of species.
-Provide support for Ecological Impact Assessments and Habitat Regulations Assessments.
-Liaise with colleagues, contractors and clients to ensure effective project delivery.
-Develop your technical and consultancy skills, paying attention to both the company and CIEEM's CPD requirements.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Graduate or Assistant Ecologist in a consultancy or advisory role.
-A degree in ecology/biological conservation (or similar)
-Experience of ecological field work including Phase 1 habitat survey and some protected species survey capability. A protected species survey licence would be an advantage.
