Our client in Hertfordshire is recruiting for a Contaminated Land/Pollution Officers , on a 3 months contract basis to ensure that pollution control duties in relation to air pollution, industrial noise and emissions, contaminated land and other environmental matters are undertaken in accordance with Council policies, standards and contracts.
You will lead on the full range of noise issues, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the organisation, including comments on planning applications, contaminated land, air quality, licensing applications and section 61 Control of Pollution Act 1974 prior consent applications. You will get involved in specific projects both individually and as part of a team.
