Driver's Assistant

This company is one of the market leaders in linen rental services to hotels and business throughout Scotland and the North of England. Established more than 100 years ago, their successful company employs over 800 staff. The company currently operates from five plants in Scotland and one in the North East of England.

A further opportunity has arisen within their transport department for Drivers Assistants to assist drivers with their multi-drop deliveries.

This position will involve loading and unloading of the vehicles at the depot and customers premises, completion of paper work and providing support for the HGV drivers throughout the day. You must be a good team player; be able to work professionally with a friendly customer facing manner.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within the transport department.

Hours of work will be 46 hours per week (Monday to Friday) at £7 per hour covering various shifts and routes. Flexibility of starting and finishing times is essential.
