We are recruiting for a DPO to help us deliver our vision.
The Role
Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) is looking for a Privacy Manager (Data Protection Officer) to work alongside the Head of IT and various business units on developing and delivering a Privacy Information Management System. LHP sees the DPO role as a strategic part of its movement to the forefront of digital services and user experience, whilst ensuring that it operates with the appropriate governance and transparency with data subject?s information.
As DPO, you will monitor and assess the effectiveness of the LHP?s data management systems and identify best practice to mitigate risks. Implementing systems and controls, the DPO will ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation and regulation, to include drafting, maintaining and implementing data protection policies and procedures, systems and controls and training activities. Providing guidance on the implementation of appropriate measures and on the demonstration of compliance by the LHP and make appropriate recommendations for continuous improvement and devise, implement and support the internal systems for reporting and responding to actual or suspected data security breaches.
Key Experience

At least 3 Years? experience in a Data Protection Officer role
Proven experience of managing a Personal Information Management System
Strong Understanding of General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the UK Data Protection Act 2018
Knowledge of other privacy legislation that impacts how personal information is used and retained
Experience of Social Housing is of interest.

Key Qualifications

For the DPO role, a recognised qualification in data protection or privacy would be desirable.
CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM or EU GDPR Practitioner would be beneficial
Membership of IAPP would be beneficial
