My client are an established Fashion Group they are the leading growth markets online fashion retailer in the world. They have brought together various regional online fashion retailers around the world and serves circa 10 million customers in 24 markets around the world today.

About the Group HR Manager Role

Our aspiration is to deliver an amazing employee experience for there employees wherever they are in the world, whether it is in one of the group regions or in the group team. Based in London and reporting to the Group HR Director, the Group HR Manager will be a critical enabler of this strategy for the group team offices in Europe as well as the London brand.

A newly created position, this role will own the provision of end-to-end HR services to an employee group of over 100 staff across multiple locations in Europe. This portfolio includes all the teams in London - both in the group corporate office and the London brand, the teams in Berlin and our one-person office in Luxembourg. You will be part of the HR team designing and delivering HR programs and services across the group; and are expected to build an HR platform over time that provides a world-class employee experience to the teams in your portfolio. Your duties include but are not limited to:

??HR Business Partner: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and people managers on matters including workforce planning, recruitment, coaching / development, people management, culture and change management, compensation & benefits and performance

??Employee relations: Serve as the trusted frontline company representative for all employees, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of people across all teams, adherence to the group fashion code of Conduct in all matters and management of people-related escalations

??Group team HR vision: Take the lead to build a long-term HR plan for your portfolio; including pulling together the required policies, programs, processes, systems and vendors needed over time to succeed

??Operational HR: Effectively partner with other internal teams and external vendors to run seamless and error-free core HR processes like payroll, benefits, systems, onboarding / offboarding, employee communications and culture / team-building initiatives

??Global program support: Support the implementation of global programs like long-term incentives, succession planning etc for your portfolio

??Other items to note:

oYou will generally work out of the group brand London office 3 days a week and within the London brand office 2 days a week

oYou will periodically have business travel to other locations

oYou will provide absence cover to the Group HR Director and Group People Experience Partner (and vice versa) as appropriate

About the Ideal Candidate

There is a mix of professional and personal criteria that we are looking for in our ideal candidate.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following professional criteria:

??CIPD Qualified to level 5 minimum or a Degree qualification in HR

??Strong track record in generalist HR roles; including good knowledge of core HR areas like employment contracts / handbooks / policies, recruitment, talent management, people manager coaching, employee relations, employee engagement and HR ops

??Demonstrable results focus, with a bias for action and delivering outcomes

??Demonstrable ability to take ownership and drive initiatives from design to implementation

??Good knowledge of UK employment law

??Good analytical and numerical ability

??Good communication skills

Additional "advantageous but not essential" criteria are:

??European HR experience

??European employment law knowledge (especially Germany)

??Exposure to the e-commerce and / or fashion industries
