Third Sector Capacity Development Lead
Voluntary Action South Ayrshire is looking for a highly motivated and experienced manager to join our team. We are seeking a strong candidate to continue to build on our successes in a challenging climate?
Applicants must have a good, solid understanding of the Third Sector, be results driven, have excellent organisational skills and strong written and verbal communication as you will be required to attend networking events and deliver training. Our service is delivered in partnership with various organisations; you will be expected to play a major part in forging links and managing these partnerships.
You will have proven experience of developing others and be highly organised with good time management skills. Management of staff is vital and you will be expected to motivate and inspire staff and volunteers to fulfil the organisations goals and requirements.
An important function is to support new and developing Community Groups with legal structures, governance matters, trustee responsibilities and delivering tailored training sessions for Third Sector Groups. Knowledge and experience of the funding landscape, particularly Trusts, Foundations and Statutory bodies is essential.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated person with strong business management skills who will be instrumental to the development and sustainability of the charity.
