A leading provider of IT Solutions to the Public Sector requires a Head of Service Delivery to Lead and manage the support teams within the Service Delivery Platform, that are responsible for the delivery of high performance support functions to Customers and employees, We are an Employment Business and an Employment Agency as defined within The Conduct of Employment Agencies & Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 * Establish policies designed to ensure consistently high service performance. * Act as a senior escalation point for out of normal hours incidents. * Managing and driving down the operational costs within the teams * Drive continuing service improvement * Be a key member of the Service Centre senior management team * Responsible for IT Service Management delivery and applications support. * Maintain and deliver an IT support roadmap. * Ensure a smooth and efficient transition of projects * Proven experience at Senior Management level. * Strong and proven experience in managing an ITSM operation. * Highly motivated and self driven * Capability to manage, motivate and develop teams of technical staff. * Excellent understanding of ITIL bases processes and procedures. * An excellent and broad technology knowledge. * High level of organisational skills. * Excellent communication skills.
