My client has an immediate opportunity for Bricklayer to join the team on a 6-8 month project with the possibility of extension! The successful candidates will work as part of a Bricklayer Ganger. You will be working as a collective to perform tasks, to a structured timescale.

You will be working on a Commercial project, in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.

Duties will include:

• Laying building materials, such as brick, structural tile, glass, gypsum and terra cotta bloc to construct and repair walls.
• Spreading soft bed of mortar that serves as base and binder for block, using trowel.
• Applies mortar to end of block and positions block in mortar bed.
• Finishes mortar between brick with pointing tool or trowel.
• Breaks bricks to fit spaces to small for whole brick, using edge of trowel or brick hammer.

You are not required to be experienced in all of the above skills but it would be beneficial.

You will require:

• Valid CSCS.
• 2 References upon request.
