Corporate Tax Advisory Manager (Edinburgh Or London)

Talent Focus Executive Search is searching for a high calibre tax professional to join a high profile organisation in Edinburgh (or possibly London) as Corporate Tax Advisory Manager. Reporting to the Head of Advisory Tax, this role will play a key role in managing the corporate tax affairs of the organisation. Responsibilities will include:

• The provision of a comprehensive tax advisory service to support the business as it continues to grow in the UK and internationally

• The provision of tax advice to the business to support internal change initiatives, including legal and operating structure reorganisations and any alterations to the finance or capital structure of group entities.

• Ensuring the provision of effective and timely communication to the business of the effects of changes to international tax and regulatory rules.

• Development and maintenance of internal tax policies and procedures, coordinating with colleagues globally, on such matters where appropriate

• The effective management of external advisors

The Corporate Tax Advisory Manager will be required to develop a strong understanding of how the business operates and work with a wide range of other business areas to ensure that tax is effectively managed across the organisation. The position will also require the individual to develop strong working relationships with advisors and other external suppliers.

This opportunity will suit a corporate tax expert either currently in the profession or in a similar group tax role within an International organisation. International and/or M&A experience would be advantageous.
