Job Description

Structural Soils Limited is looking for a ground engineering Data Manager to join its data management team to support the delivery and continual development of its geodata capabilities.

In addition to candidates with specific experience in a data management role, this position may be suited to other persons who have obtained related skills or experience in other ground engineering roles. Training would be given to provide the specialist knowledge of our systems. Duties would include:

Contributing to the on???going development of the Bentley Systems gINT database and related systems used by the company to manage geotechnical and geo???environmental data

Providing assistance on projects with data gathering, validation, analysis, and reporting

Assisting team members with the generation, import and peer review of data in AGS and other formats

Providing support and training to others (with line management opportunities) for the right individual

Production and management of training materials, user guides and resources

Work on bespoke data management tasks including use of other software and mobile site data applications

Undertake research for future developments

Desired experience and attributes include:

Minimum of three year's experience working in geodata management or closely related area

Good experience with geo???database software, preferably gINT, and the AGS data format

Outstanding accuracy with attention to detail.

Proactive, with willingness and ability to learn.

Preferably degree or HNC/HND qualified in relevant subject
