As a Transport Administrator based at our Cardiff Depot, you will report to the General Manager and your key responsibilities will include:
• Administering Owner Drivers payments
• Administering stocks of uniforms and operational stationery
• Carrying out Driver Licence and Forklift Truck certificate checks
• Administering fuel stocks and orders
• Carrying out local operational quality audits
• Administering and maintaining the vehicle service schedule, records, keys, vehicle defect register and repairs
• Maintaining the Depot Operating Report
About You
As the successful candidate will be able to evidence previous administrative experience ideally gained in a busy and fast paced environment.
Your strong customer service, organisational and good computer literacy skills will be fully utilised in this role. Alongside these, you will need to:
• Possess good customer service skills and be computer literate
• Possess a sound knowledge of DPD depot procedures
• Have a good telephone manner
• Be a team player and be able to manage their time effectively
